Those currently running it have done an amazing job. It is considerably more upscale than it previously was, but I have not had fish cooked better in this area. ”

“ We were here for an early lunch two Sundays ago. It had been a few years since my last visit which I recalled as having been lovely. When we arrived the combo Sunday brunch and lunch menu was in effect. Since we had been up since the crack of dawn with breakfast long behind us, neither of us was in the mood for brunch/breakfast type food. That said, as many do during brunch we did start with a Bloody Mary each. ;-) They were spicy and quite tasty. Good job on those. I ordered the fish and chips which seems to be my go-to these days. I was not disappointed. The fish was not overcooked which seems to be a problem for some places when they fry fish. The coating was done in what seemed to be a tempura style and so the crust was wonderfully light and not at all greasy. It did not cling to the fish which I like. Delicious, not oily at all and perfectly cooked white fish. The fries were just okay. Tom ordered the burger which came with a gorgeous looking shiny, dark crusted bun and loaded with lettuce, tomatoes and relish and a nicely sized burger. He said it was delicious. It was so hefty it needed to be properly managed by cutting it in half and even then it was a mouthful. We sat on the porch which in warm weather is open sided but now has large clear plastic sheets covering the window area. It had a lovely greenhouse effect and felt cozy. We had a beautiful view of the harbor. I think this would be my preferred space to eat. next visit. Tasty food, nice ambience, helpful and attentive waiter. All in all a lovely start to our afternoon in Marblehead. ”

“ Went here with a friend whom I hadn't seen for a couple of years. The parking is easy and we were able to get a table outside. We both decided to order the lobster roll (I ordered the cold one; and she ordered the hot one which is made with butter) with the arugula salad. We also had tempura like beans for an app. Food was very good -the tab was expensive but it was nice to treat ourselves well for once. Of course, the view of Marblehead Harbor was great and that really made us happy. Enjoy it. It can be worth a special moment in your life. ”

“ We were walking around and needed to rest and eat. Our server Josh was wonderful. I finally ordered the New England Clam Chowder. This had bacon, potatoes, and clams. This was delicious. Josh encouraged me to try the lobster roll. Oh my. New cook in the kitchen. For some reason he added parsley to the lobster. I tried to eat it and I just could not eat it. They took it off the bill and sure enough the cook altered the lobster. Kinda disappointed. Josh then brought us a complimentary tiramisu. That was delicious. Stop and check this place out. ”
